Bald schaffte es Isobel, trotz ihrer Schmerzen, eingeschlafen. Sie hatte sich darin geübt, sich in eine andere Welt zu träumen und dabei schlief sie früher oder später immer ein. Es war oft der einzige weg, den starken Schmerzen zu entkommen. Zumindest, wenn sie nicht ständig Tabletten nehmen wollte.
