Remus durchquerte kleine Gassen, um möglichst schnell in abgelegenere Gelände zu kommen. Stets hielt er dabei nach Wäldern ausschau. Er musste eine ganze Weile gehen, ehe er schließlich einen etwas größeren Wald fand.

Remus atmete den Geruch des Waldes tief ein und machte sich auf die Suche nach einer leeren Hütte, einer tiefen Höhle oder etwas ähnlichen.

Nachdem Remus eine Stunden durch den Wald gelaufen war, hatte Sirius bereits ein ganzes Zimmer von Staub befreit.

Plötzlich hörte Remus ein lautes Klacken. Wenig später durchfuhr ein wahnsinnig starker Schmerz, ausgehend von seinem rechten Fuß seinen Körper. Doch er hatte noch nicht mal Zeit, zu verstehen, woher dieser Schmerz kam, als ein erneutes Klacken zu hören war und der gleiche Schmerz erneut seinen Körper zusammen zucken ließ. Diesmal ging er jedoch von seinem linken Fuß aus.

Schließlich hatte Sirius genug von dem ganzen Dreck und sah sich in der, dank Molly, gut gefüllten Speisekammer nach einem möglichen Mittagessen um.

Erst nachdem Remus sich, zumindest so gut es ihm möglich war, an die Schmerzen gewohnt hatte, wusste er, woher sie kamen: Er war in eine Falle für Werwölfe getappt und verfluchte sofort erneut sein Leben.

Remus fragte sich in der Zwischenzeit, was er tun sollte. Er kam unmöglich alleine aus dieser Falle. Es war kein Geheimnis, dass dagegen kein Zauber half.

Als es bereits früher Nachmittag war, tat Sirius etwas wahrscheinlich sehr Dummes und Unvernünftiges, aber er machte sich wirklich Sorgen.
Er schickte einen Patronus an Tonks, die, wie er wusste, gut darin war, Leute zu finden.
Als Tonks die Nachricht gehört hatte, die Sirius' Patronus ihr übermittelt hatte, sprang sie auf und hastete los. Sie musste Remus finden und zwar so schnell wie nur möglich.
