Liz fragte sich, warum sie sich nicht bedanken sollte. Man hatte sie einfach so erzogen. Sie bewunderte die Schwestern, für ihre Arbeit. Viele Patienten nahmen alles einfach für selbstverständlich hin. In diesem Zusammenhang musste sie sofort an die ältere Dame denken, mit der sie das letzte Mal ihr Zimmer geteilt hatte. Wie hielt man es nur aus, wenn man mehr Patienten dieser Art auf Station hatte?
