Als sie merkte, warum sie keine Antwort mehr bekam, stand sie auf und deckte ihn zu. Anschließend ging sie kurz ins Bad, stellte ihm danach eine Flasche Wasser bereit und ging dann in ihr Zimmer. Sie schloss die Tür ab und legte sich in ihr Bett.

Chase wurde mitten in der Nacht wach und sah sich verwundert um. Erst als er die Umrisse von Amys Werkbank erkannte, wusste er, wo er sich befand. "Amy?", flüsterte er. Scheinbar war sie in ihr Bett gegangen. Schlaftrunken stand er auf und drückte vorsichtig den Türendrücker ihrer Schlafzimmertür herunter, um zu ihr zu gehen. Verwundert stellte er fest, dass sie sich eingeschlossen hatte.
