Im Laufe der Woche erholte sich Amy so gut, dass sie nur noch hin und wieder Schmerzen verspürte. Schon seit Tagen hatte sich auch das Wetter gebessert. Der fast schon ständige Wind der letzten Wochen hatte endlich nachgelassen.
Amy, die nur noch wenige Tage krank geschrieben war, stand langsam auf. Ein Blick auf die Uhr verriet ihr, dass es schon auf Mittag zuging. Chase würde sich wohl bald auf den Weg in die Arbeit machen. Sie entschied sich zunächst eine Runde Joggen zu gehen. Danach machte sie sich auf den Weg in ihr Bad, um schnell unter die Dusche zu hüpfen. Anschließend gab es ein, da sie natürlich mal wieder nicht eingekauft hatte, kleines Frühstück.

Sofort strahlte Isobel wieder über das ganze Gesicht. Sie brauchte teilweise immer noch etwas Zeit um richtig verstehen zu können, dass Leonie ihr kleines Mädchen war.
