Etwas enttäuscht sah sie ihn an:"Das ist alles?", sie versuchte ihn zu durch schauen. Natürlich fiel ihr das nicht leicht. Eigentlich wusste sie auch gar nicht, was sie erwartet hatte. House war schließlich nie so redefreudig. Doch wie sie kurz darüber nachdachte, kam es ihr, sie wollte wirklich seinen Segen dazu, so wie eine Tochter von ihrem Vater.

"Intuition." Er nahm sich ein Bier aus dem Kühlschrank und trank gleich einen Schluck aus der Flasche, dann drehte er sich wieder zu Remy um. "Vielleicht ist er ja ok, dann hab ich mich eben geirrt. Du wirst schon wissen, was du tust." Er zuckte mit den Schultern und strich ihr kurz mit dem Handrücken über die Wange.

"Mh!", entkam es ihr nur. Irgendwie war das noch immer nicht das, was sie erwartet hatte. Nervös ging die sonst so selbstbewusste junge Frau wieder zurück in das Wohnzimmer der gemeinsamen Wohnung und wartete auf das Türklingeln, dass Remy signalisieren würde, dass ihr Date da war.
