Amy sah ihm nach und atmete tief durch. Zum ersten Mal an diesem Tag konnte sie ihre Tränen nicht mehr zurück halten.

Chase war kaum ein paar Minuten weg, als die Schwester kam, die Amy das Blut abnahm. Sie sagte nichts weiter zu deren Zustand, da es nach einer solchen Mitteilung schließlich nicht verwunderlich war, dass man weinte.
