Schon als er aus dem Zimmer gegangen war, legte sie die Zeitschrift wieder weg. Zum einen war es schlimm für sie, wieder in dem Raum zu sein, in dem sie heute so schreckliche Dinge erlebt hatte. Zum anderen hätte sie an diesem Abend kaum mit Chase in einem Bett schlafen können. Alleine die Angst einzuschlafen und erneut schlecht zu träumen war viel zu groß.

Irgendwann legte sich Amy schließlich doch auf dem Sofa zurück. Sie hatte das Licht angelassen und starrte nun einfach vor sich hin. Bei jedem Geräusch sah sie sich sofort aufmerksam um.
