So stand er auf und legte sich ganz vorsichtig zu ihr. Er hielt sie in seinen starken Armen und zog die Decke etwas weiter über sie.

Kathleen hatte so lange geschlafen, dass sie nun nicht mehr müde war, weshalb sie einfach mit geschlossenen Augen Ryans Atmung lauschte und seine Nähe genoss. So ließen sich auch die Kopfschmerzen weitestgehend ignorieren.

Nach einer Weile musste er die Lage seines verletzten Armes leicht verändern. Sonst blieb er ganz ruhig liegen.
