House ging zurück in die Küche und briet die Wurst an, nebenbei rieb er Käse. Nach ein paar Minuten kam er wieder ins Wohnzimmer zurück. "Ihr könnt kommen, das Essen ist fertig." Auch House' Blick fiel kurz auf Remys Hand, die den Stift hielt, doch er sagte nichts dazu.

Remy legte den Stift beiseite:"Das war wirklich ganz gut, Anna!", lobte sie ihre Kleine und strich ihr liebevoll und vorsichtig über den Kopf. Danach gingen beide zu House in die Küche.

House hatte die Teller bereits befüllt, daher brauchten die drei nur noch Platz zu nehmen. "Lasst es euch schmecken!", verkündete House fröhlich und griff zu seiner Gabel.

"Danke, Kleines", antwortete er Anna lächelnd. "Habt ihr beiden denn gut geschlafen, während ich meine tolle Stimme präsentiert habe?", fragte er dann grinsend und sah die beiden abwechselnd an.

Die beiden nickten und ließen sich ihr Essen schmecken. Während Anna ihren Teller wie immer überraschend schnell leerte, aß Remy sehr langsam.

House freute sich, dass die beiden gut aßen. Remy war zwar nach wie vor sehr schmal, wirkte aber nicht mehr so kränklich und abgemagert wie noch einige Wochen zuvor. Und Anna sah man nicht wirklich an, dass sie am besten den ganzen Tag aß. "Noch mehr?", fragte House sie daher grinsend. Sein eigener Teller war gerade mal bis zur Hälfte geleert.
