Ryan dachte an ihre Worte und er wusste, er hatte alles dafür getan bei Kathleen zu bleiben und nicht weg zu müssen. Er dachte an seine Frau und seine Kinder, sah genau die Blicke vor Augen, wie sie ihn ansahen, wenn er wieder zu einem Einsatz gerufen wurde. Er stand zu seiner Entscheidung. Trotzdem vermisste ein Teil von ihm das einfache Leben, die Kameradschaft, den Einsatz für das Gute.
