Damit zog er sie weiter in seine Arme und schloss seine Augen. In Gedanken fragte er sich immer noch, ob sie mit ihm glücklich werden konnte, wenn er sie nie fragen würde, sie zu heiraten. Konnte er das den überhaupt? Konnte es eine zweite Frau Kaminski geben? Bei dem Gedanken an Christiane und die Zeit mit ihr, kam der dicke Kloß in seinem Hals zurück.

Kaminski lag eine Weile so da, seine Augen hatte er wieder geöffnet. Jetzt starrte er in die Dunkelheit. Die Bilder aus vergangenen Zeiten hatte er trotzdem immer noch vor Augen.
