‘Tomorrowland’, starring George Clooney & Hugh Laurie, will be shot in Vancouver this summer

According to the B.C. Film Commission, George Clooney will begin his next movie, Tomorowland, in Vancouver on August 1, 2013.

Little is known about the plot of the Disney movie at this time which will also star Hugh Laurie as a villain.

Filming will last through Jan. 1, 2014 with the movie arriving in theaters on Dec. 9, 2014.

Currently, Clooney is filming The Monuments Men with Matt Damon in Berlin. The film tells the true story of a small group of American soldiers in World War II who tried to track down art stolen by the Nazis.

Tomorrowland: Raffey Cassidy neben George Clooney, Hugh Laurie Im August rollen die Kameras für den neuen Film von Brad Bird an, und nach wie vor ist relativ wenig über das Projekt bekannt.

George Clooney spielt einen verbitterten Erfinder namens Frank Walker; Hugh Laurie ist in der Rolle des Bösewichts zu sehen.

Wie der Hollywood Reporter berichtet, ist nun Raffey Cassidy dazu gestoßen, um ein Robotermädchen zu spielen, das bereits einige Jahrzehnte auf dem Buckel hat und mit mehreren Kampfkunst-Stilen vertraut ist.Sie und Clooneys Figur verbindet eine gemeinsame Vergangenheit.

Cassidy machte bislang als jüngere Version diverser Hauptfiguren auf sich aufmerksam, wie die der Titelfigur in Snow White and the Huntsman und als junge Eva Green in Dark Shadows.

Tomorrowland soll 2014 in die Kinos kommen.
