So I have never posted to this community, but I thought I would share if anyone is interested.

I just got back from the taping of the Tonight Show. Hugh was there (!) and as always he was very funny and eloquent. Jay asked him about a road trip he took and Hugh said that he went to New Orleans and that he bought some car (a Ford something, I am not that good with cars) in Texas.
He also talked about he album coming out at the beginning of next year.

Jay asked if there was a love scene in the fist episode of season 7 and Hugh said that there was indeed a "physical union" taking place Then they showed a still photo of HOUSE AND CUDDY IN BED NAKED! Hugh's just got a laptop on his lap or as he was putting it, he "was wearing a laptop" ;-) pretty smoking hooooooot!

They also showed an old sketch of him an Stephen Fry from their time at the Footlights CLub.

Hugh stayed till the very end which made me very happy showed a clip of the other guest (Emma Stone is her name I believe) singing and dancing when she was younger, Hugh got up and kneeled down in front of the monitor so he could see better. That was very funny. She sang "I am a bitch" by Alanis Morissette.

And at the very they recorded a little segment where Jay said who was gonna be on the show that night. After Jay, Hugh had a go, but he couldn't make out the small printing on the card the camera guy was holding up. So he came forward and made funny faces, which was pretty cute

All in all it was pretty awesome to see him in person and all. I just wished I could have gotten his autograph or his picture (they don't allow photography in the recording studio). But well, what was it that one philosopher once said: you can't always get what you want.....
