"So hätte ich mir wenigstens meine Würde erhalten können!", kam es leise von ihm. Er klang dabei aber überhaupt nicht vorwurfsvoll oder böse. Es war nur eine Feststellung. Nachdem er ausgesprochen hatte dauerte es nicht mehr lange und er war eingeschlafen.

Kaminski schlief die nächsten Stunden völlig unruhig durch. Immer wieder sah er die gleichen Bilder, immer wieder drehte er sich leicht hin und her.

Elena setzte sich immer wieder für einige Minuten zu ihm, während sie dann zwischendurch wiederum etwas von der Hausarbeit zu machen versuchte. So hatte sie mittlerweile das Bad fertig geputzt.

Kaminski öffnete schließlich seine Augen wieder. Er bemerkte schnell, dass sein Kreislauf völlig im Keller waren. Das Zittern war mittlere Weile wieder so schlimm geworden, dass es ihn schmerzte.

Kaminski musterte sie:"Du sitzt jetzt aber nicht die ganze Zeit hier rum und langweilst dich, oder?", alleine an seiner Stimme merkte man, wie kalt ihm war. Auch die Erschöpfung zeigte sich, in dem er nur ganz leise und kraftlos sprach.

Er drehte sich zu ihr um:"Jetzt bist du neben meiner Krankenschwester auch noch meine Putzfrau? Das musst du doch nicht machen!", er genoß ihre Wärme an seinem Körper.
