Dass sie nicht laufen würde, wenn sie heim gingen, war ihm klar und engmaschige Physiotherapie würde sie für den Rest ihres Lebens brauchen. Wie lange dauerte es, die Grundlage dafür hier zu legen?

Isobel nickte nur. Ihre Gedanken hingen schon wieder bei Samuel. Was wäre gewesen, wenn er gelebt hätte, wäre er dann bei dem Unfall umgekommen? Hatte er wirklich deshalb nicht überlebt oder weil sie sich so nicht mehr richtig um ihn hätte kümmern können?
