"Ich habe dir schon mal gesagt, ich möchte keine Sonderbehandlung, nur weil du Dr. House bist!", kam es von ihr. Natürlich war das wahr, aber sie wusste, dass sie nicht so schnell einen Termin bekommen würden und sie so auch nicht so schnell wieder in ein Auto steigen musste.

Sie aß weiter, ohne noch etwas zu erwidern. Sie war zusehr in ihren Gedanken. Natürlich hatte er recht, aber sie hatte einfach zu viel Angst davor, wieder in einem Auto zu sein und diese Angst stieg mit der Ungewissheit des Untersuchungsergebnisses nur noch mehr an.
