Liz rang mit sich selbst, sie wollte nicht, dass er weg ging, weil sie wusste, dass dann die Angst zurück kommen würde. Aber sie wollte auch nicht im Selbstmitleid zerfallen, während er anwesend war:"Ich kann nicht von dir verlangen, dass du die ganze Zeit hier verbingst. Du hast gehört, dass ich noch Wochen hier verbringen muss!"

Liz nickte. Sie konnte sich nicht vorstellen, dass die anderen sie besuchen würden. Isobel konnte sie nicht leiden, Chase und House waren zu sehr beschäftigt mit ihren Partnerinnen und die Kinder durften hier so und so nicht rein. Sie fragte sich zudem, ob sie das überhaupt wollte.

Liz nickte, lächelte gezwungen und sah dann auf die Glasscheiben neben der Tür. Er sagte das so einfach. "Zu hause", noch immer wusste sie nicht, wo sie hin sollte, wenn sie hier raus kam. Doch es sah so aus, als würde es noch eine Weile brauchen, bis das ihr dringlichstes Problem wurde.
