Vor der Tür bat Lawrence die Schwester, in Kürze nochmals nach Liz zu sehen. Schließlich kannte sie sie mittlerweile schon ganz gut und konnte sich so denken, dass Liz während der Visite noch ihre Fassade gewahrt hatte und sich jetzt den Kopf über das Gehörte zerbrach.

Liz sah der Infusion zu, wie diese Tropfen für Tropfen in sie lief. Sie hoffte, dass sie bald durch war. Sie wollte einfach nur noch zu Jack und sich wieder so wohl fühlen wie gestern. Dort war alles etwas leichter.
