Amy schwieg und schloss ihre Augen wieder.
Er schätzte es, dass sie ihn bei dem Gespräch mit Wilson nicht rausgeschickt hatte und wusste, wie schwer es ihr gefallen war. Doch auch in diesem Punkt fragte sie sich, wie die nächsten Wochen aussehen würden. Es würde Robert weiterhin nicht gefallen, wie sie mit der Krankheit umging. Sie würden immer wieder aneinander geraten. Sie wollte das nicht. Doch sie wollte und konnte auch nicht einfach nur hier liegen und langsam aber sicher immer mehr zu einem absoluten Pflegefall werden.

"Die Bestrahlung hat wohl eine weitere Metastasenbildung verhindert. Das war's dann aber auch", meinte er und sah auf seinen Tee. "Wenn das Scheißding weiter wächst, zerstört es Bereiche, die sie zum Denken und Bewegen braucht. Außerdem wird dann eine OP unmöglich." Er pausierte und sah eine Weile einfach vor sich hin. "Sie braucht eine Chemo. Wenn die auch nicht hilft..." Er zuckte mit den Schultern.
