Chase musterte Amys Gesicht noch eine Weile ehe er sich vom Bettrand erhob und das Zimmer verließ.

Als Amy alleine war, atmete sie tief durch. Sie war ehrlich gewesen und wollte sich auf keinen Fall umbringen. Auch die Aussage, dass sie kämpfen wollte, damit Chase und die Kinder nicht erneut so einen Verlust erleben musste, war natürlich völlig wahr. Doch seit den Ausführungen von Chase fragte sie sich, was sie ihnen antat, wenn sie ein Pflegefall wurde.

Da Chase wusste, dass die Schwestern um diese Zeit für gewöhnlich ihre Pause machten, versuchte er doch jetzt schon, Kathleen zu erreichen. Zu seinem Glück ging sie auch an ihr Handy und die beiden sprachen eine Weile miteinander, ehe er wieder auflegte und das Essen für die Mädchen vorbereitete.
