Nachdem die Schwester wieder gegangen war, sah Chase zurück zu Amy. Er wusste gar nicht, wie sie die Chemo in den nächsten beiden Tagen noch überstehen sollte.

Amy hielt ihre Augen geschlossen, sie wollte diese Vögel nicht mehr sehen und zudem konnte sie somit vielleicht auch ausblenden, dass ihr Freund das alles mit ansehen musste.

Chase schwieg jetzt und blieb einfach nah bei ihr sitzen. Es tat ihm weh, dass sie das bisher immer allein durchstehen musste. Und noch mehr tat es weh, dass sie das am liebsten auch jetzt tun würde.
