Liz zuckte mit den Schultern und hasste sich dafür. Früher hatte sie so viel mit den Mädchen unternommen. Heute war sie überflüssig, eher eine Gefahr. Ein Klotz am Bein ihres eigentlichen Arbeitgebers.

"Wenn ich auf dem Rückweg keine Luft mehr bekomme, helfe ich Anna nicht. Im Gegenteil. Wenn Jack hier einen Anfall bekommt, kann Amy ihm nicht helfen. Sie bekommt es vielleicht gar nicht mit und "Amy" und "sicher", passt für mich in keinen Satz!", kam es zur Antwort leise.
