Ryan schwieg und sah von ihr ab. Ava hatte sich nach dem Tod ihres Mannes auf ihn verlassen können. Er hatte alles mit der Beerdigung und der Überführung geregelt. Sie hatte ihn zu den unmöglichsten Zeiten angerufen und er hatte ihr zugehört und danach Telefonate getätigt. Er hasste es, so untätig zu sein, aber ihr jetzt nicht helfen zu können, das war das schlimmste.
