Der restliche Nachmittag verging sehr schnell. Am Abend saßen die Erwachsenen noch auf dem Sofa zusammen, Anna war bereits in ihrem Bett.

Der Fernseher lief nur ein wenig nebenbei, während House ein wenig von der Arbeit erzählte. "Also kommt Isobel morgen um den Mittag herum", wiederholte er noch einmal. "Dann seht ihr euch ja vielleicht sogar noch, wenn du wiederkommst", meinte er dann zu Chase, welcher nickte. "Ich fang gleich zeitig an, da werd ich im frühen Nachmittag wiederkommen, wenn es keinen Notfall gibt, denke ich." Zärtlich gab er Remy einen Kuss auf die Wange.
