Chase setzte sich und schüttelte lächelnd den Kopf. "Nein, natürlich nicht. Im Gegenteil, du machst das hier alles ganz toll. Ich wollte nur mit dir über die nächste Zeit sprechen", erklärte er und sah sie an. "Ich weiß, dass es viel verlangt ist und dass es eigentlich nicht zumutbar ist, aber könntest du dir vorstellen, ein paar von deinen Klamotten ins Gästezimmer zu bringen, damit du, wenn nötig, auch mal länger bleiben kannst? Remy kommt morgen nach Hause und sie..." Er suchte nach den richtigen Worten. "Sie braucht ständige Betreuung und besonders nachts hat sie oft Anfälle. Ich kann mich aber nicht um die Kinder UND um sie kümmern, aber die zwei brauchen jemanden, wenn es ihrer Mutter schlecht geht."

Liz überlegte kurz den Zeitungsjob konnte sie dann vergessen. Da blieben dann nur noch die wöchentlichen Werbeprospekte. Aber hier wurde sie auf jeden Fall auch besser bezahlt. So nickte sie:"Einverstanden!"
