Amy entging sein Seufzen nicht. Sie entschied sich vor Lisa jedoch nichts dazu zu sagen. Das Problem von Chase erschloss sich ihr nicht. Schließlich wusste sie wirklich nicht, was es alles gab und er kannte sie gut genug, um ihr etwas auszuwählen, was sie mochte.

Als er zurück kam, legte er die Tüte auf den Tisch und holte zuerst das dick belegte Pizzabrot heraus, das er für Amy gekauft hatte. Unsicher, ob sie genug Kraft in den Händen hatte, um es zu halten, hielt er es ihr hin. "Ich hoffe, das trifft deinen Geschmack."
