Vorsichtig legte Chase ihr seinen Handrücken auf die Stirn, konnte jedoch keine Veränderung spüren und ging wieder zur Tür, da sie auch ganz ruhig atmete.

Anna bemerkte nicht, dass Chase bei ihr war. Die Krankheit und das Fieber machten hatten sie dazu einfach zu sehr geschwächt, sie brauchte jetzt ihren Schlaf.

Chase ließ seine Hände sanft über ihren Körper wandern und genoss es, wie sie ihn berührte. Schon bald fanden seine Lippen ebenfalls ihren Hals und wanderten zu ihrem Nacken, wo er sich schließlich eng an sie schmiegte. Chase musste grinsen: "Bloß nicht", flüsterte er ihr ins Ohr und ließ seine Hände unter ihr Oberteil wandern. Es war lange her, dass ihn dieses Gefühl des vollkommenen Glücks überströmt hatte.

Die beiden verbrachten eine schöne und sehr intime Zeit zusammen. Anschließend ließ sich Remy ganz erschöpft neben Chase in die Kissen sinken. Sie atmete schwer.
