House streichelte ihr sanft über die Wange, als sie eingeschlafen war. Er wollte nochmal zu Remy, aber später, wenn Chase mit den Kindern ebenfalls da war. Obwohl er der Spaßvogel war, konnte er es kaum ertragen, dass sie ihn durch Witze aufzumuntern versuchte. Sie sollte ihre wahren Gefühle zeigen und die sahen ganz anders aus.

House stand auf und ging nach draußen auf den Gang. Bald fand er den Arzt, der über eine Kurve gebeugt stand. "Wie geht es denn jetzt weiter?", wollte er wissen. Er hoffte, Isobel hatte mittlerweile geklärt, dass man mit ihm sprechen durfte.
