Auch Elena hatte mit ihrer Vermutung recht gehabt: Nachdem sie nur wenigen Sätzen in dem Dokumentarfilm gehört hatte, machte sie es Kaminski einfach nach und schlief mit ihm im Arm ein.

Da Elena nicht sehr müde gewesen war, wachte sie bereits nach 20 Minuten wieder auf. Sie beschloss, sich eine Dusche zu gönnen, deckte Kaminski zu und machte sich mit ihren frischen Klamotten auf den Weg ins Badezimmer.

Statt zu duschen, entschied sich Elena im letzten Moment für ein Bad. Bald darauf lag sie daher in der Wanne und schloss entspannt die Augen, während sie das warme Wasser genoss.

Sein Schlaf wurde leichter und damit kehrten auch die Bilder zurück. Fabian packte seine sieben Sachen, Kaminski ließ ihn. Sein Herz schmerzte, aber er konnte ihn nicht abhalten. Im Gegenteil. Er vertand ihn, er wollte einfach nur weg von dem Menschen, der den Rest seiner Familie umgebracht hatte.

Ein Rucksack reichte aus, um alles was er noch hatte darin zu verstauen. Mit einem Blick, den Kaminski nie vergessen würde, ging er ohne ein Wort an ihm vorbei durch die Tür.
Kaminski atmete, die Augen voller Tränen tief durch, ehe er seine Tasche nahm und sich beeilte in seine Praxis zu kommen.

Sie cremte sich ein, zog sich an und föhnte sich zum Schluss ihre Haare. Dann kehrte sie wieder ins Wohnzimmer zurück, um nachzusehen, ob Kaminski mittlerweile aufgewacht war.

Kurz bevor sie zurück kam öffnete er die Augen und sah an die Decke. Kaminski blickte an die Decke und wischte sich mit seiner gesunden Hand den Schweiß von der Stirn. Immer wieder sah er seinen Sohn vor sich, der ihn mit diese hasserfüllten, abwertenden Blick strafte.
