Er merkte, dass die Müdigkeit immer mehr zu und die Konzentration damit weiter abnahm. So würde es keinen Sinn mehr haben, weiter zu machen. Er räumte alles auf und machte sich wieder auf den Weg in sein Zimmer.

Auch Kaminski, der am Vortag schnell eingeschlafen war, war bereits wach. Als Brenner ihm das Frühstück brachte, war er bereits frisch geduscht und angezogen. Er trank langsam seinen Tee und las dabei etwas in seinem Buch.

Er sah auf die Uhr und machte sich dann durch die Gänge des Krankenhauses auf den Weg zu Pia.

Eine halbe Stunde später übergaben sie den stabilisierten Patienten der Notaufnahme. Es waren immer die schönsten Einsätze, wenn der Patient bereits beim Eintreffen ins Krankenhaus nicht mehr in akuter Lebensgefahr schwebte.
