Nach einer kurzen Pause entschied er sich einkaufen zu gehen und anschließend für Elena zu kochen. Am späten Nachmittag konnte man sich so in den Bodenfliesen spiegeln, in der Küche sah es aus, wie in einem fünf Sterne Restaurant und Kaminski schlief im Wohnzimmer auf dem Sofa. Er hatte sich bemüht, möglichst viel mit seiner rechten Hand zu erledigen. Einige Dinge, die Grobmotorik erforderten, waren ihm auch wirklich gelungen. Aber die Feinheiten und die Ausdauer fehlten.

Nach einer Weile öffnete er langsam die Augen und sah sie an. Am Anfang war er oft erschrocken, wenn sie so da saß und ihn beim Schlafen beobachtete, nun hatte er sich schon daran gewohnt:"Hallo!", flüsterte er und setzte sich auf:"Wie war dein Dienst?
