Kaminski beobachtete die beiden erneut. Es war schön, sie so vertraut zu sehen.
Ganz wie Elena und Kaminki es sich gedacht hatten, war die nächste OP für Jack bereits eine Woche später. So saßen Kaminski und Elena jetzt wieder an Jacks Bett im Aufwachraum. Kaminski fand es erschreckend, wie normal das für sie schon geworden war. Umso schöner war es für ihn, dass es vorerst die letzte OP gewesen war. Zumindest, wenn alles gut gelaufen war, was er bisher nur hoffen konnte.

Elena wollte noch etwas erwidern, ließ es dann aber bleiben, als sie den Ausdruck auf seinem Gesicht sah.

Kaminski sah auf Jack. Was, wenn er jetzt auch noch einen Rückfall hatte? Wie sollten sie das alles schaffen? Natürlich merkte er, dass es ihm in letzter Zeit nicht gut ging, aber er schaffte es durch die Sorge um Jack gut zu unterdrücken und dann wieder zu ignorieren.
