Die kannst du auch gleich haben, dachte Kaminski. Auch wenn er nur wenig vor ihr verheimlichen konnte, schaffte er es gerade da es Jack auch nicht gut ging und sie oft getrennt schliefen doch häufig. Zudem kannte er den Zustand und die Kopfschmerzen, die er nun wieder hin und wieder hatte, einfach zu gut.

Kaminski streichelte Jack sanft und wartete darauf, dass er richtig wach wurde, er hatte wie versprochen ein Bild von der Hütte mitgebracht. Er hatte Jack zu gesagt, es ihm nach der Operation zu zeigen, damit er etwas hatte, worauf er sich freuen konnte.
