Kaminski war froh, als er endlich lag und schloss sofort seine Augen. Es war ihm nicht entgangen, wie erschrocken, fast schon ängstlich sie aussah, als er wieder auf dem Bett saß. Sein Zustand wurde immer schlimmer, er bereitete ihr immer mehr Sorgen.

Sie deckte ihn zu und legte auch noch eine zweite Decke über die erste. "Ich mach dir was zu essen", meinte sie dann leise, stellte den Rollstuhl neben das Bett und streichelte ihm sanft durchs Haar.

Elena machte außerdem Tee zurecht und füllte ihn in eine Thermoskanne um, den Topf mit der Brühe stellte sie warm. Sie konnte sich schon denken, dass er jetzt erstmal eine Weile schlafen würde und sie bessere Chancen hatte, dass er später etwas essen würde.
