Da Elenas Dienst ruhig verlief, keine neuen Notfälle hereinkamen und sie auch nicht als Assistent auf dem OP-Plan stand, schaffte sie bis zu ihrem Dienstschluss den ganzen Papierkram und kam so auch pünktlich aus dem Krankenhaus heraus.

Nachdem Jack gegessen hatte, spielten die beiden noch zusammen ein Brettspiel und verbrachten einen schönen Nachmittag, ehe Kaminski ihm half sich hinzulegen. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis er eingeschlafen war.
