Elena schlich zurück ins Schlafzimmer und schlüpfte in ihr Bett. Bereits beim betreten des Raumes hatte sie das Weiß von Kaminskis Augen in der Dunkelheit bemerkt.

Kaminski brauchte erneut lange, bis er schließlich wieder einschlief. Mit den ersten Sonnenblitzern öffnete er dann seine Augen auch schon wieder.

Kaminski fuhr sich mit der Hand über die Augen. Natürlich hatte Elena am Abend zuvor recht gehabt. Es ging ihm seelisch immer schlechter. Zudem schmerzte sein Arm und seine Schulter von der übermäßigen und durch die Bewegungsstörungen in seiner Hand falschen Belastung. Der wenige und unruhige Schlaf machte das alles nicht besser.
