Jack hoffte, sie könnte jetzt durchschlafen, oder wenigstens die paar Stunden bis zum Abend ohne Alptraum ausruhen können. Er musterte die ganzen Geräte, die um ihr Bett standen und versuchte sich zu erinnern, was er aus seiner Zeit im Krankenhaus noch kannte.
