Chase wachte auf, als es bereits mitten in der Nacht war und legte sich in sein Bett, wo er fast sofort weiter schlief.

Jack und Liz wurden am nächsten Morgen erneut früh geweckt. Es war Zeit für die Grundpflege.

Das ganze Prozedere vom Vortag begann erneut. Während Liz immer mehr selbst erledigen sollte, konnte Jack nicht mehr tun, als abzuwarten, bis es vorbei war.

Anschließend erhielten beide ihr Frühstück, bei dem es natürlich genauso weiter ging: Liz wurde wieder selbstständiger, Jack musste sich das Essen eingeben lassen.

Jack konnte Liz nicht ansehen, während die Schwester ihm das Essen gab, wobei auch hin und wieder etwas daneben ging, wenn er nicht schnell genug war.

Liz musste sich nach dem Essen etwas ausruhen und schloss dabei die Augen. Es war Jack wahrscheinlich sowieso lieber. Irgendwie fand sie es schrecklich, dass er sich immer noch so sehr vor ihr schämte. Schließlich wusste sie von seinem Zustand und hatte in den letzten Monaten gelernt, was es für ihn und sie bedeutete. Wie oft sollte sie ihm noch sagen, dass sie ihn trotz allem liebte? Glaubte er ihr das überhaupt? Natürlich war es unangenehm, vor seinem Parnter hilflos zu wirken, das war wohl normal. Aber es wurde überhaupt nicht besser. Bei jeder Gelegenheit ließ er ihr das merken.
