Die Ärztin nahm den Becher entgegen und nahm dann zuerst Blut ab. Anschließend verschwand sie mit beiden Proben im Nebenraum.
Nur kurz darauf kehrte sie zu Isobel zurück und setzte sich an ihren Schreibtisch. "Nun, ich werde natürlich beides erst ins Labor einschicken müssen", fing sie langsam an. "Aber sowohl der Blutschnelltest als auch der Urinschnelltest haben ergeben, dass Sie schwanger sind. Ich denke es wäre das Beste, Sie würden zu Ihrer Gynäkologin gehen und sich dort untersuchen lassen", riet sie ihr.
