Endlich wurde die Trage gebracht und Amy vorsichtig darauf gehoben. Als es in Richtung Station losging, hielt Chase ihre Hand weiter fest.

"Sobald wir wissen, woran es gelegen hat, okay?", gab er leise zurück und setzte ihr die Maske wieder auf. Als sie im Zimmer ankamen, wurde Amy an den Überwachungsmonitor angeschlossen und sie ließen die beiden allein.

Amy musterte die Maschinen und schließlich wieder Chase. Es wirkte nicht so, als wäre das bald. Doch im Moment war sie zu erschöpft um weiter darüber nach zu denken, geschweigeden selbst irgendetwas zu tun. Kurz darauf war sie eingeschlafen.

Chase blieb bei Amy sitzen und hielt ihre Hand umschlossen. Er hatte Angst vor der Untersuchung. Ein Krampfanfall bedeutete eine Veränderung, allerdings nicht in die positive Richtung.
