"Die meisten Chemotherapien werden so durchgeführt, dass die Medikamente an einem Tag oder an mehreren Tagen hintereinander verabreicht werden. Dann folgt eine Pause von 2 - 4 Wochen, währenddessen soll die Behandlung wirken und der Körper sich auch wieder etwas erholen. Anschließend folgt eine erneute Behandlung. Das ist dann ein sogennannter Zyklus. Normalerweise wartet man 2-3 Zyklen ab, ehe man kontrolliert, ob der gewünschte Erfolg einsetzt. Naja und die Nebenwirkungen können vielfältig sein. Am wahrscheinlichsten sind Übelkeit, Schwächegefühl, Haarausfall, Kreislaufprobleme. Es kann aber auch zu Stimmungsschwankungen und Charakterveränderungen kommen!",erklärte sie.
