Remus wollte noch etwas erwidern, doch da war sie schon aus dem Raum gelaufen.
Er sah ihr nach, atmete tief durch und griff erneut nach seinem Buch. Es fiel ihm jedoch schwer, sich auf das Gelesene zu konzentrieren.
Andere Männer in seinem Alter haben Familie, mit der sie in einem schönen, großen Haus wohnen, dass sie sich leisten können, weil sie jede Woche durch gehend bis auf das Wochenende in die Arbeit gingen. Frau und Kinder waren stolz auf das, was sie haben und konnten wenigstens in dieser Hinsicht ein sorgloses Leben führen. Vielleicht war das eine etwas veralterte Weltanschauung, aber so stellte er es sich nun mal vor..

Tonks sortierte ihre Arbeitsunterlagen etwas und machte derweil Ordnung in ihrem Büro.

Irgendwann schaffte Remus es doch noch, die Gedanken wieder zu verdrängen. An Lesen war auch jetzt jedoch nicht zu denken, da er schon bald erneut eingeschlafen war.

Etwas später wollte Tonks erneut zu ihm kommen, sah jedoch, dass er eingeschlafen war. Ganz vorsichtig legte sie ihm eine Hand an die Stirn, holte dann eine Schüssel Wasser und legte ihm sanft ein kaltes Leinentuch auf die Stirn.

Sofort öffnete Remus seine Augen und griff nach seinem Zauberstab. Als er Tonks bei ihm sah, ließ er den Zauberstab wieder neben sich auf das Bett fallen:"Was machst du?"
