Jetzt, da sein Freund ihn auch noch rief, unterbrach er seine Tätigkeit jedoch, zog sich wieder an und atmete tief durch. Wenig später kam er in das Esszimmer, versuchte sich möglichst wenig anmerken zu lassen und begrüßte alle bereits anwesenden Gäste.
