Tonks beendete wirklich bald ihr Tun, trug eine heilende Salbe auf und umwickelte Remus' Beine locker mit frischen Binden. "Jetzt wird es nochmal sehr weh tun", warnte sie ihn dann, ehe sie seine gebrochenen Knochen straff schiente und die Beine auf ein altes Kissen lagerte.

Remus atmete nur tief durch. Er galt in der Gesellschaft als Abschaum, Tonks war die einzige neue Bekanntschaft,seit langem, die sich mit ihm abgab obwohl er anders war. Doch jetzt lag er hier vor ihr und bewiese erneut, dass er kein richtiger, normaler Mann war. Er fühlte sich hilflos, wie ein kleines Kind.
