Tonks versuchte sich zu erinnern, wie es in dem Haus war, als sie es zuletzt gesehen hatte, doch da war sie noch ein kleines Kind gewesen und sie hatte absolut keine Erinnerung mehr daran.

Als Tonks den Familienstammbaum eine Weile gemustert hatte, musste sie lachen.

Remus begann seinen Oberkörper immer wieder leicht zu bewegen. Jetzt, da die Schmerzen in seinen Beinen ganz langsam nachließen, schienen die in seinem Rücken zu zunehmen. Vielleicht bemerkte er sie jetzt aber auch einfach mehr.

Tonks musterte den Stammbaum noch eine Weile, ehe Sirius von hinten zu ihr trat, sie eine Weile gemeinsam schwiegen und dann beide erneut lachen mussten.

Da das Lachen neben dem gelegentlichen Knacken des Holzes der einzige Ton in dem Haus war und Remus Hörsinn, sehr gut ausgeprägt war, konnte er die beiden hören. Es tat gut, in diesen Zeiten zuhören, dass sie auch ihren Spaß hatten.
