Die Arbeit ging ihm heute viel leichter von der Hand, wo er das fröhliche Stimmgewirr aus der Küche heraufdringen hörte.

Nach einiger Zeit zogen sich die Jugendlichen wieder in ihre Zimmer zurück.

Am nächsten Abend brachte Arthur wie versprochen Tonks mit, sodass sie diesmal in noch größerer Runde beisammen am Tisch saßen.

Remus war den ganzen Tag schon unruhig gewesen und wollte gar nicht an den Abend denken. Da er aber wusste, dass er sich nicht davor drücken konnte, war er früh in der Küche gewesen und hatte den Tisch gedeckt
Er versuchte sich nun, ganz auf sein Essen zu konzentrieren, trotzdem aber an der Unterhaltung teilzunehmen, so dass es nicht auffällig wurde. Natürlich sah er so auch immer wieder Tonks. Ihm entging nicht, dass ihre Haare heute lange nicht so leuchteten, wie sonst üblich. Doch trotzdem war sie unwahrscheinlich hübsch. Er ermahnte sich selbst. Er war alt, sein Körper und seine Seele voller Narben und seine Klamotten waren ausgewaschen und abgenutzt.
Allein diese Gedanken reichten ihm, um lieber das Essen wieder in den Vordergrund zu rücken.
