Als am Morgen die Sonne wieder aufging, kehrte Remus in seinen menschlichen Körper zurück. Die Verwandlung hatte ihm wie immer sehr viel Mühe gekostet, weshalb er erstmal wieder auf dem Bett Platz nahm und sich seine Wunden ansah.

Die ganze Nacht hatten die Heiler damit verbracht, Tonks am Leben zu halten. Zwar blutete sie jetzt nicht mehr, doch die fünf Tage, die sie ihr gegeben hatten, waren gerade drastisch geschrumpft.

Er gab sich noch eine Weile, ehe er sich schließlich auf den Weg machte. Umso länger er wartete, umso schwieriger würde es werden, möglichst ungesehen nach Hause zu kommen. Kraftlos kam es so wenig später daheim an.
