In den nächsten Wochen passierte nicht viel. Amy sträubte sich weiterhin gegen ihre Therapie. Zum Teil lag es wohl auch an dem nahenden Kontrolltermin im Krankenhaus, vor dem sie viel Angst hatte, es jedoch natürlich nicht zugab.

Chase unterstützte seine Freundin nur etwas, als sie vorm Krankenhaus vom Autositz in ihren Rollstuhl rutschte und bat sie dann zu warten, während er das Auto etwas weiter entfernt parkte.

Amy konnte es kaum erwarten, dass er wieder zurück kam. Sie war wahnsinnig aufgeregt und er konnte ihr wenigstens etwas Sicherheit und Ruhe vermitteln.

Es dauerte nicht lange und Chase war wieder bei seiner Freundin, die an diesem Tag nicht nur den Gips abgenommen bekommen sollte, sondern auch ein erneutes CT und Tests auf Tumormarker haben würde.
