Kathleen blieb stehen, hob die Arme und seufzte, während sie ihm nach sah.
Anschließend setzte sie ihre Arbeit im nächsten Patientenzimmer fort.
"Hallo, Mary", grüßte sie die junge Frau, die ihr ein Lächeln und ein leises Hallo schenkte.
Anschließend wechselte sie ein paar Worte mit ihr und half ihr dann in eine bequemere Position, soweit es das Korsett, dass man ihr im unteren Rückenbereich angelegt hatte, zuließ.

Als Ryan endlich einen Arzt fand, grüßte er ihn, stellte sich vor und erkundigte sich nach seiner Schwester:"Sie können mir alles sagen, ich bin der Bevollmächtigte."

Er nickte und sah Ryan an. "Was soll ich Ihnen sagen... Ihr Zustand hat sich erneut sehr verschlechtert, womit wir ja gerechnet hatten. Die Bestrahlung könnte ihre Schmerzen etwas lindern und ihr eventuell noch ein paar Wochen mehr verschaffen. Sie könnte."
